Send the same model and specifications to each provider and compare the complete quote, including supports, finishing, any design work and delivery. To lower the cost, ask whether the model can use one colour, fewer supports or a smaller size without losing its purpose. Discuss wall thickness and infill before reducing strength. Yes, you can submit a prototype or architectural-model request for review. Include the file, scale, overall dimensions, smallest important details, number of parts and your deadline. Explain which parts must fit or move. Thin walls, fine features or a large model may need changes or splitting before FDM printing. Feasibility, assembly, price and timing must be confirmed for the actual model; submitting a request does not guarantee every design can be produced.
Should I choose PLA or PETG, and does it change the price?
Choose material for the intended use, then compare its current rate in the calculator. Tell us about expected heat, moisture, loads and contact with other objects, especially for replacement parts. A decorative figure and a working bracket can need different settings. The material name alone does not establish fit, durability or suitability for a particular application; include these requirements when you submit the model for review.
Does multicolour 3D printing cost more than a single colour?
It can. Colour changes may require extra material and printing time, so the difference depends on the model, colour layout and quantity. Compare the same design in one colour and in the requested colours, and confirm whether finishing is included. Creo 3D offers multicolour printing subject to model review and the available options. Can I order a personalised gift or print from a photo?
For an existing design, browse the store and choose the personalisation options shown on its product page. For a new idea, photo or sketch, submit a custom request with dimensions and references. A photo is not a ready-to-print 3D file: modelling work, details and the final appearance need review and may affect price and timing. Store designs are also made to order; they are not necessarily ready for immediate dispatch.
Do I need to visit a printing shop in Cairo?
